Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
So Mario kart 8 is the best in the series not just in terms of its visuals, but also the racing mechanics and the fact you get all the Mario Kart 8 DLC. It’s still the same Mario Kart formula fun just more balanced and new mechanics. Nintendo blended new ideas such as anti-gravity and customizable kart parts. Karts and bikes have relative weights to them, and messing around with a vehicle's customization to adjust values actually feel worthwhile and you can make anything comfortable for your racing style. Then all the items kind balance everyone to one playing field along with the natural hazards waiting to wreak havoc on any racer.
Despite being just a Wii U game with added DLC, I didn’t have the Wii U but I did play it with friends. I think there were still some improvements and still worth being on Switch. . In fact, the Wii U sold 60 million copies and the Switch version is really just a 'Game of the Year edition' with a new Battle Mode and a few characters available as DLC for long-term owners. With the Switch you don’t have to worry about DLC cause you have access to everything. Also with the Switch you have some Legend of Zelda BOTW content if you’re a fan of that. (I know I am.) This was a game I loved playing solo and against others while I was in AIT. All my free time after my classes for the army was spent on video games and Mario Kart was probably one of my favorites as I never get tired of Mario Kart especially with friends.
